Your Board of Education is committed to working with the administrators, teachers, support staff, students, parents and congregation members to continue Holy Cross Lutheran School's fine tradition of providing quality opportunities for all students through the academic, fine arts, religious, extra-curricular activities or athletic competition.
Holy Cross Lutheran School is a diverse organization in a diverse community. It is our diversity that unites us. Accomplishments 2006-2007 |
|
|
A significant goal
accomplished in 2007 was the renewal of accreditation by the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools and the National Lutheran School Accreditation Commission. All members of the school board, the entire Holy Cross staff, and many other dedicated volunteers provided many hours towards this goal.

Accomplishments 2005-2006 |

A significant goal
accomplished in 2005 was to promote community awareness of the value of
education at Holy Cross Lutheran School. This was an overwhelming
success as the enrollment for the 2005-2006 school year has increased
13.5% for a total of 183 students in preschool through eighth grade.
The
school board sponsors four subcommittees lead by board members focusing
on Marketing and Planning, Curriculum, Policy and Salary, and
Technology.

Accomplishments 2004-2005 |

|
The Holy Cross school board assists the school administration by setting school policy and direction. A significant goal accomplished in 2004 was to realign the number of school staff resources to existing and projected student enrollment. This activity allowed Holy Cross Lutheran Church and School to better align their on-going expenses versus current revenue.
In addition, the school board sponsors four subcommittees lead by board members focusing on Marketing and Planning, Curriculum, Policy and Salary, and Technology.
