From your Teacher
I pray your fundraising is going well. Remember to bring in your money and orders for the Butter Braids by Monday, Jan. 23rd. Our next deposit of $250.00 is due by Friday, Feb. 10th.
Homework
All homework assignments are given in class, and your student is responsible for getting them, completing them, and turning them in on time. In order to get your student ready for high school, no credit will be given if homework assignments are turned in late. If special circumstances arise, please let me know by sending a note in with your student, calling me, emailing me, or seeing me in person before school starts. I am in the building every school day by 7:30 a.m., if not sooner.

QUARTERLY A.R. POINTS NEEDED
NON CHOIR STUDENTS:
20 POINTS
CHOIR STUDENTS:
16 POINTS
I expect students to be honest about what they read. I will not question what they tell me that they read, but I will remind them that the truth is known.
A record is to be kept showing the dates and titles of the books read. The dates should show when the book was begun and finished. If there is no record of reading, the student will receive no credit for the book. This record must be turned in before the last day of each quarter. The AR reading requirement is worth 200 points of the Literature grade each quarter.
