HCLS Mission Statement: Holy Cross Lutheran School teaches students about the love of Jesus and equips students to share the Gospel.

Holy Cross has been providing quality Christian instruction to the families in the Saginaw community for over 160 years!  We are a nationally accredited school that strives to provide each student with the most well-rounded education possible.  Each student will be given the opportunity to grow academically, physically and spiritually as they grow each day as a Disciple of Christ.  At Holy Cross, Jesus comes first, and His Word is what leads us in our daily activities.  Each day the students and families are reminded of the love that Jesus has for them through our caring staff. 

With God's Word as our guide, we strive to create an environment at Holy Cross that stresses the importance of being a family.  In order for each student to be successful, it is important that the students, staff members, and family members work together to provide an environment conducive to learning.  With a solid foundation for learning in place, students are exposed to a curriculum that meets State and National Academic Standards.  As the academic environment around us is continually changing, Holy Cross continues to meet curriculum expectations for its students and equips them with the tools needed when they leave Holy Cross.

An education without Christ is not a complete education! I pray that God will guide you as you choose a school for your child/ren. As Principal of Holy Cross, I encourage you to remember what Scripture tells us in the book of Proverbs: "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 (NASB)
